Why is it important to back up the Sendio ESP?
Maintaining the integrity of your corporate information is vital. That is why the Sendio ESP provides the ability to back up all configuration as well as the last 24 hours of e-mail. The backup can be used to recover operations on a replacement unit (at same location or otherwise). The backup includes user contacts that accumulate over time as senders respond to SAV Requests. It is highly recommended that you backup this data to a local archive on a daily basis and include it as part of the backup regimen that you have in place (e.g. tape rotation, offsite copies, etc.).
